Alberta teen second at Idol

It's back to school for Alberta's bright-eyed Idol Jaydee Bixby.

The countrified crooner came in second place last night on Canadian Idol.

Bixby is the blond-haired, Elvis Presley loving, teen from Drumheller who took Idol by storm this season with his classic rock and country style performance.

The 17-year-old smiled and shed a happy tear during the last moments before the winner was announced by host Ben Mulroney as Brian Melo, 25, of Hamilton Ont.

"It's been phenomenal," Jaydee said to the crowd.
